The 308 GT Line uses the same engines available in the 308 and 308 SW, combined with a variety of technologies designed to promote fuel efficiency.
As such, the 308 GT Line also comes in variants featuring BlueHDi, Peugeot’s Euro 6 Diesel engines.
Thanks to the exclusive combination of a SCR (tooltip: Selective Catalytic Reduction) and FAP (tooltip: Diesel Particulate Filter) system, the BlueHDi technology drastically reduces (by more than 90%) the NOx emissions, curbs CO² emissions, and virtually eliminates particulates (99.9 %).(tooltip: Mixed consumption of 3.7 to 4.1 litres/100 km, CO2 96-107 g/km, in accordance with Directive 99/100/EC for the saloon model)
308 GT Line is equipped with the 1,2L PureTech 130 S&S (tooltip: Stop and Start) three-cylinder petrol-fueled turbo engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed automatic EAT6 (tooltip: Efficient Automatic Transmission 6). Matching prowess and proficiency, this technological breakthrough reduces fuel consumption and CO² emissions by 21% (tooltip: Mixed consumption of 4.8 litres/100 km, CO² 110 g/km, in accordance with Directive 99/100/EC for the saloon model).
The new automatic 6-speed transmission EAT6 (tooltip: Efficient Automatic Transmission 6) is associated with the 2.0L BlueHDi 150 and 1,2L PureTech 130 S&S engines. With Quickshift technology, it changes gears faster and more smoothly for superior driveability. It was also designed to drastically reduce CO² emissions.
